2. What information?

When you contact us, we may receive your name, contact details, service address, availability, appliance details, message and any photographs you choose to send. Browsing may generate technical data needed for operation and security: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and error events. Your cookie choice is stored separately. Please provide only information relevant to your request. Avoid sending identity documents or sensitive data unless necessary.

3. Why do we use it, and on what basis?

  • Responding, preparing a quotation and arranging a visit: pre-contractual steps requested by you, followed by performance of the agreed service.
  • Invoicing and managing supporting documents: legal obligations, including accounting and tax requirements.
  • Protecting the website, handling incidents and following up correspondence: our legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable service and defending our rights, while respecting your interests.
  • Optional features requiring your agreement: consent, where such a feature is offered. You may withdraw it at any time.

The contact details and information needed for a visit allow us to handle your request. Without them, we may be unable to respond or prepare a quotation. Additional information remains optional.

4. Who can access it?

People handling your request and, as needed, hosting, maintenance, email, management or accounting providers may process information necessary for their work. Data may also be disclosed to authorities where legally required. Contacting us through WhatsApp also involves that external service. The website button is a link: it does not load a WhatsApp module into the page.

5. How long is it kept?

Correspondence and requests are retained for the time needed to handle them and provide useful follow-up for your project. Customer records are kept during the contractual relationship and subsequently, where necessary, for applicable retention obligations, warranties and limitation periods. Technical logs are retained according to security and investigation needs. Your cookie choice is stored for a maximum of 180 days, after which you are asked again.

6. External services and transfers

If you open WhatsApp or another external website, its own privacy rules apply. Some services may process data outside the European Economic Area. Applicable safeguards depend on the provider, including adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where required. You may contact us by email or phone if you prefer not to use WhatsApp. Please read WhatsApp’s privacy policy before sending information through that service.

7. Your rights and requests

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Send your request to contact@bulex-chauffagiste.com, stating its purpose and the information needed to locate your record. Proportionate proof may be requested if there is doubt about your identity. A response is normally provided within one month; a reasoned extension may apply to complex requests. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority. This website does not offer automated decision-making producing legal effects.

8. Cookies and updates

The cookie policy (French) describes the mechanisms used and how to change your choice. This page is updated when the website’s operation or data processing changes.
