Your address and access
Give the full address, postcode, floor and access to the boiler. Mention a lift, a shared technical room, narrow passages or another person who holds the keys. A neighbourhood name helps locate the property but does not replace the exact address.
Preparing a repair request
Tell us whether heating, hot water or both are affected. Note the appliance reference and any error message. Describe when the issue started and whether other flats or rooms are affected. Do not dismantle the appliance to prepare your request.
Maintenance and planned work
For maintenance, gather the available appliance documents and previous reports. For installation or replacement, explain your aims, planned renovation and hot-water needs. Insulation work or an additional bathroom should be discussed before choosing equipment.
Individual and shared installations
A house, a rented flat and a jointly managed building require different arrangements. Identify who can approve the work and provide access. If the equipment is shared, coordinate the request with the building manager or owners association.
